Seattle Construction Limited intends to apply to Kildare County Council for permission for development to amend a previously permitted Large Scale Residential Development (LRD) (Reg. Ref. 25/60988) located on lands at Kilwoghan Woods, in the Townland of Crodaun, Celbridge Co. Kildare. The proposed development will consist of amendments to the permitted Phase 2 Large-scale Residential Development under Reg. Ref. 25/60988 at Kilwoghan Woods, Crodaun, Celbridge, Co. Kildare.

 

The proposed amendments comprise alterations to Duplex Blocks D, E and G, including the replacement of 12 no. 1- bedroom (2-person) apartments at first and second floor levels across the three blocks with 6 no. 3-bedroom (5- person) duplex units. These amendments result in a reduction in the overall number of residential units within the permitted development from 239 no. units to 233 no. units. The development also includes a reduction in the number of balconies within Duplex Blocks D, E and G from 6 no. to 4 no. balconies per block, together with associated elevational amendments; the rotation of Duplex Block G and associated elevational amendments to improve its relationship with and passive surveillance of the adjoining public open space; the consequential reconfiguration of the public and communal open space surrounding Duplex Block G; the omission of the temporary pumping station; and all associated landscaping, services, site development and ancillary works. The proposed Phase 2 development will comprise 76 no. houses and 157 no. apartments/duplex units providing a total of 233 no. residential units.
